Cirrus SR22-G2 For Sale

image Don't know why I haven't posted this here. Another listing couldn't hurt!

N334CM has been a good and loyal steed that is looking for a new home. A mere $270,000 and you could call this beauty yours! Gotta make room for a new Cirrus Perspective.

She is a fantastic plane for business travel for 4. Provides a fantastically stable IFR platform. Since it doesn't have the factory air conditioning, you've got the extra load carrying capacity for the equivalent of just shy of one hour more endurance. She has been inspected and serviced  regularly at 50 and 100 hour intervals by factory authorized mechanic. Fly her lean of peak and she'll take you farther than most people's bladders can handle!

Here are the specs on the plane followed by some additional pictures:

  • 2004 Cirrus SR22-G2
  • CAPS parachute system
  • 310 horsepower TCM Platinum Engine w/6 point engine mount
  • Full Avidyne glass panel with dual Garmin GNS430 GPS/Nav/Com
  • 55x Autopilot
  • Skywatch
  • Strikefinder
  • EMax engine monitoring
  • TKS anti-ice panels
  • Factory supplemental oxygen system
  • Approximately 1200 TT (plane is flown regularly so this number may change)
  • Bruce's cabin cover

Up, Up and Away!

image Hot on the heels of yesterday's published high-speed taxi tests, Aero-News Network has more photos and store about the first flight of "The-Jet" from Cirrus!

After an uneventful 45-minute test flight the new plane landed safely at Duluth International, home to Cirrus Design. I know someone who just can't WAIT to get his hands on one of these....

image The quote of the day from this article is "Billed proudly by Cirrus as the "slowest, lowest and cheapest jet available"." I don't know, 300 knots at FL250 is nothing to sneeze at! You can learn more about "The-Jet" at it's dedicated website: http://www.the-jet.com/.

THIS JUST IN: AvWeb has also posted a story about this with many more (and better) pictures.

Rolling Along!

image The Cirrus "The Jet" program just keeps rolling along. Aero-News Network Reports that the "5-plus" seating jet has been doing everything but flying as it does it's high speed taxi test.

You can read more on their site at ANN Exclusive- Cirrus Jet Test Program Ready For Takeoff!

Of course, Chad and Andy and I knew this would happen sooner rather than later. When we stopped off in Duluth to check out Chad's new Cirrus Perspective, I grabbed snuck a picture of plane sitting on the ramp outside the jet factory (on opposite kitty corner of the runway) . I almost missed getting a picture of it. For what it's worth, here that is:

Stay tuned, I hope to post some about this trip as it was a once in a life-time experience...
